Product Release: Introducing Support for License Plate Recognition

Combine Camcloud video surveillance with Best-in-Class LPR Platforms!

Businesses of all types are learning the value of license plate recognition (LPR). It could be important for gate access to a home owners association or even any place of business to identify cars coming and going. As of today, Camcloud has released integration support of LPR.

Now you can incorporate your typical video surveillance along with LPR all integrated into one solution. All LPR data will be stored right into the Event Explorer:

With the built in filtering of the Event Explorer you are able to filter by license plates or any other attribute that is captured by LPR.

The available options for integrating LPR are to use Rekor Scout or Axis LPV cameras.

Rekor Scout:

• Software based solution that requires on site hardware
• Advanced solution that provides more than license plates, including: make, model, color, region

Axis LPV:

• No onsite hardware other than the camera – see supported camera list
• License plate detection only with limited additional information such as region
