Sony Announces New Wearable Device from Future Lab Program

The description reads: “Free your ears, hands, and eyes. Enjoy your favorite activities to the full with a wearable device that never hinders movement.”

It’s hard to tell what this device will be, but a woman in the video is shown wearing an obscure device around her neck. The device is codenamed “N” and has a “hands-free user interface that creates a new way of experiencing audio such as music and sound, allowing the user to receive audio information without having to insert any object into his or her ear.”

N will be getting a proper reveal at the South by Soutwest conference coming soon. It’s good to see Sony taking risks and investing in innovative products.
