Introducing Advanced Video Settings
UPDATE: We’ve standardized our resolutions available across all cameras up to 4MP both in Continuous Record AND Motion Record mode!
In our latest release for Hosted Cloud Video for reseller partners and customers, we’ve introduced a new feature to adjust your camera video settings. Previously we provided a “Quality” feature that allowed you to set the resolution on the camera. However that locked a number of settings per resolution. With this new feature you will be able to set the resolution, bitrate, frames per second and smart codec (if applicable).
This provides the ultimate flexibility when it comes to low bandwidth situations. You can select any resolution the camera offers up to a maximum 1080p. That’s right, we’ve increased the resolution up to 1080p for continuous recording at no additional cost!
To take advantage of this feature:
- Click the “Reconfigure” button when you edit the camera (“Quality” will change to “Resolution”)
- Make sure you have updated to the latest mobile app version – 3.4
