Update on the Latest in Home Automation

Great update from the BGR folks on the latest in home automation. The focus of the video is a $55M mansion that is fully automated, with every system controlled by a central tablet device. Very cool.

Interestingly, he also recaps the latest home automation trends for mere mortals, and showcases three technologies in particular:

• the brilliant Nest thermostat product
• Sonos audio system (awesome)
• AXIS IP Cameras for video monitoring

Couldn’t tell whether he was using Camcloud for his Axis IP controls (ok, I could tell – he wasn’t:), but that’s ok, we’ll get ’em next time. Enjoy.
