Camcloud Updates Mobile App with All-New Camera Upgrade Center

Camcloud has just released version 3.1.7 of the Hosted Cloud Video mobile app that includes major new features targeted at our business customers and our network of authorized partners who install and support their deployments.

Here’s a breakdown of the new features.

• The Upgrade Center feature has been completely revamped, making firmware and cloud app software upgrades to your Hanwha Techwin cameras easy, more reliable and much easier to manage. First of all, the feature can be accessed at anytime with its own area inside the app rather than being exclusively part of the “Add Camera” process. In addition, many of our integrator and installation partners are managing a large number of cameras, so cameras that are scanned and discovered by the app are now organized into logical tabs based on their upgrade status. Finally, all the cameras in an account can be filtered by group inside the Upgrade Center — this means even if there are hundreds of cameras in a particular account, yet you are only updating cameras at just one location, the app will only show you the local cameras, making things much more efficient. • Several enhancements to the usability of the SD card and NAS Edge Storage features. We realize local redundant storage is important for many customers so we continue to make investments in this feature.
• As with every release, we always ensure we include a variety of bug and stability fixes.
