How Camcloud and Plate Recognizer Work Together

Many businesses have a need to deploy both a Cloud Video Surveillance (or Cloud VMS) solution alongside an advanced License Plate Recognition (LPR) platform. Any business that has vehicle entries and exits or parking facilities, would likely want to capture license plates in case there is an incident. The use of a Cloud Video Surveillance platform provides the continued monitoring and 24×7 recording on all your cameras.

The partnership between Camcloud and Plate Recognizer allows businesses to deploy best-in-class Cloud Video Surveillance with best-in-class LPR. This is a powerful combination.

Now, customers can combine all its video data with detailed LPR reads on the plate, vehicle type, etc. Then, in an easy-to-use, searchable interface customers can review LPR data and matching video for both its plate detection cameras and overwatch cameras, providing a powerful search and review capability to access video from any incidents.

All LPR data from Plate Recognizer will be stored right into Camcloud’s Event Explorer. In the example below, customers can filter to a single camera or group of cameras, then search for a specific vehicle type within a particular time range and review all the relevant video quickly.

With the built in filtering of the Event Explorer you are able to filter by license plates or any other attribute that is captured by LPR.
