Setup Online Webcam Recorder in 3 Steps

Here’s a simple way to setup an online webcam recorder for your home or business in 3 simple steps. All you need is an internet connection and a regular USB webcam. Using the Camcloud software and cloud service, your webcam will use motion to trigger recordings, saving them online with no software to install!

1. Sign-up for a free account at www.camcloud.com. It just takes a minute. Once you login, it will take you to the Cameras page. From here, there will be a default camera ready to use.

2. Press the Start button. A monitoring window like the one below will open.

3. You’re now ready to record video from your webcam! Wave your hand in-front of your webcam and you’ll see the Recording indicator light-up. You are now recording video from your webcam and it’s being saved online in the cloud.

You can modify the recording sensitivity on the Camera page, along with a few other settings, but that’s the basic idea. To view your recorded video, simply visit the Recordings page and select the video from the list in the table. Voila, easy as that! Your online webcam recorder is up and running in just a few minutes.
